First snow for Shigakogen & Nagano Northern Alps

First snow yesterday for Shigakogen & Snow Monkeys.
Great to see the Northern Alps & Yokote-yama change back,
interesting to meet a poet travelling up here who wrote book Se-oto (river sound).
As leaves loose their colour guess it's a great time to get the pen & paper out...and take it slow

Hayabusa Onishi Voyage Amazing 　はやぶさ宇宙へ　大西冒険

Dr Onishi explained to around 100people at the Shinshu Nakano Planeterium / Animal Museum.
It was interesting to see a model of Hayabusa along side Dr Ken Motomura's Chogenbo Eagles.

Massive day out, after getting lost and walking around Higashiyama Skifield for 2hours I finally found the forest walk start point...from there it was a 6hour walk.

The man below had the same problem as me:

There were around 200 people on the trail (who didn't get lost ha ha).

Looking back and watching a man who was actually in the midst of making a new map,  it was quite easy to find the way....ha ha in hind sight!!

Seeing the vast area of many different autumn colors,  we all felt very lucky to be up there.
Our view was about 20km across from Iwasuge yama.

Along the way were some very bright sparks, who exchanged all sorts of ambiguous comments - great fun

色々心配しました。
最後には、色んな友達を出来て大喜び！！
直接会った人もすごく魅力的だったし、
地位図を作った山男とちょっと気になり、
電波を出したら。。。
鳥肌と鼻水を出すながら日本国内より様々の交信して、
無線の友も増えた。

一番びっくりのは「享年、自転車で東京ハム・フェアーに行った人ですか？」と聞かれて、。。。。「今ＣＱザシ、ページ１６９で。。。」ご覧してた明るい人と無線で（空で）会いました。
今度　JE3ENM、「のうぐち」さんと志賀高原で自転車を乗りたいな＾−＾
お楽しみにしています。

Travel Companys from Hong Kong & Taiwan visit Shigakogen

 Many smiles as some familiar faces, and some new faces arrived at Shiga Palace Hotel this evening.

We saw the comical side of Japanese tradition...

Sometimes comical Japanese culture^-^

Breaking through the politics of this very pure area of Nagano, I liked how their guides were impartial & proud to introduce all parts of Nagano/Japan.
I guess all our customers will benefit from this thinking in the long run.

Nagano prefecture is well known for apples like these!!

Each place has strong points we can be proud to show-off^-^.

Our Furukawa-san is always there just when you need him...er...with grapes (he has a smile, and me too putting this photo below)

The warm-ness of our guests was a credit to both Hong Kong & Taiwan.
Similar to our Hawaiian 'ambassadors' at Biyu the previous day - you guys pulled at our hearts.
If the customers coming from Taiwan & Hong Kong are anything at all like tonights team....then our local mountain people will welcome & appreciate the warmth - and reply with Shigakogen mountain hospitality.  Both special flavors^-^.

 Simply too many things happening here to keep an accurate log.
Over loading mind and pen, so will rest up a little.　Need another vent.

Hawaiian Ambassadors - The H-Team!

Actually they remind me of The A-Team, but coming from Hawaii I guess makes them the H-Team^-^. (pun in Japanese of course not intended hi hi hi)
6 guys from Hawaii came and were exactly like ambassadors for Hawaii - very curious & fun to show around.
